job summary: Electrical Engineer opportunity with a systems integration company located in the Troy, MI area. Our client is looking for someone to help with the engineering, integration, and construction of technically complex R&D and production equipment, controls, and facilities in the industrial markets. This role works with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent client service from design concept through commissioning and job closeout. Client offers great benefits and a positive, collaborative culture. location: Troy, Michigan job type: Permanent salary: $90,000 - 125,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Perform detailed engineering functions, including calculations, code reviews, equipment selection, and shop drawing review.Review design documents for completeness, constructability, and budget adherence; develop cost estimates for electrical systems.Assist Project Managers with developing project schedules and supporting the contractor bidding process.Coordinate with internal teams and external trades for power requirements, system start-up, and commissioning.Travel 30-50% to client locations to oversee construction, installation, and system start-up activities.
