Your Mission: The Core Responsibilities You will be the financial guardian for your portfolio, ensuring impeccable reporting and compliance: Financial Closing Mastery: Own and execute the entire monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of final reports. GAAP-Compliant Reporting: Prepare and deliver precise monthly and quarterly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to corporate leadership and external property owners. Cash Control & Reconciliation: Conduct weekly reconciliation of all bank accounts and manage P-card expense processing and synchronization across the portfolio on a strict schedule. Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed budget vs. actual variance analysis and investigate discrepancies to provide actionable insights into property performance. Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and assist with all necessary preparation and support for internal and external audits. Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit essential monthly and quarterly tax documents (e.g., sales/use tax). What We’re Looking For: Qualifications We require a candidate with the proven technical foundation and professional drive to succeed: Education is Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (U.S. accredited institution required). Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional accounting experience, with a focus on Month-End Close, Financial Statements, and GAAP. Preferred Background: Experience in Property Management, Real Estate, Hospitality, or Multi-Entity Accounting is a significant advantage (e.g., REITs, Construction, Hotel Management).
