A client of ours in the automotive manufacturing industry located in Frankfort, Kentucky is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team. As the Warehouse Manager, you will lead all aspects of the warehouse operations to ensure storage efficiency, productivity, and the distribution of goods. You'll be responsible for managing a team, overseeing logistics, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing strategic improvements to optimize processes. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package. salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Team & Operations Leadership: Develop daily schedules and assign tasks to warehouse personnel to ensure seamless receiving, storage, and shipment of goods. Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including inventory, distribution, and logistics, to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness. Drive a culture of safety and organization by leading 5S and other safety initiatives. Inventory & Logistics Management: Manage the efficient flow of inventory through the warehouse, making the best use of space, equipment, and staff. Ensure the accuracy of all inventory by conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts. Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure all documentation is accurate. Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and transport companies to guarantee the timely receipt and dispatch of goods. Strategic Planning & Improvement: Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead projects to enhance overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
