FOOD PRODUCTION AND LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS A MUST POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Group Leader oversees the suitable handling and processing of the entire inventory during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for maintaining seamless warehouse functions, coordinating with the Warehouse Manager, and supervising personnel to meet operational targets.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Team Supervision: Assign tasks to warehouse staff, organize training activities, and ensure the proper functioning of all shift operations. Inventory Control: Manage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using Syspro and handheld scanners. Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the loading and unloading of freight, validating all received goods against invoices for accuracy. Quality Assurance: Enforce a "no damaged product" tolerance and maintain accurate records on all finished goods. Compliance: Complete all documentation and legal procedures for inbound and outbound goods, including FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols. Safety & Maintenance: Conduct regular forklift and trailer inspections and report equipment malfunctions to management. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Leadership Experience: A documented history of supervising teams and managing warehouse workflows is required. Food/GMP Standards: Prior experience operating within Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety compliance environments is essential. Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing facility warehouse. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Syspro or similar warehouse applications and handheld scanner technology. Certifications: Possession of a valid forklift license or certification. Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently for documentation and safety purposes.
