Specific Industry Experience Required Candidates must possess a deep portfolio in at least one (ideally both) of the following areas: Healthcare Construction: Proven experience managing builds within occupied hospitals, clinics, or outpatient facilities. You must be well-versed in MEP coordination for medical equipment, and local healthcare building codes (e.g., HCAI/OSHPD). Federal Construction: 1-2 years of Expertise in managing USACE, NAVFAC, or VA projects is highly preferred. You should be familiar with federal reporting requirements, and the submittal processes required by government agencies. Key Responsibilities Mission-Critical Execution: Manage all phases of construction, ensuring work in sensitive areas (operating rooms, secure government sites) is executed without service disruption. Contract Administration: Oversee project buyout, subcontract management, and the rigorous documentation required for federal and healthcare audits. Budget & Schedule: Maintain full P&L responsibility for projects; develop and manage schedules that account for the long lead times common in specialized equipment procurement. Relationship Management: Navigate the complexities of working with government contracting officers (COs) and hospital administrators. Candidate Profile Experience: 5 years of experience in a Project Management role for a General Contractor. Education: B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or any related field.
