Installation & Modification: Plan equipment layouts and install electrical fixtures, control systems, wiring, meters, and electronic components to design specifications. Maintenance & Calibration: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibrate testing instruments, and log equipment performance and repairs. Programming & Tech Support: Create, edit, and troubleshoot PLC programs and utilize computer-aided design software when necessary. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Coordinate efforts with engineering and manufacturing personnel, direct junior staff, and consult with supervisors to resolve operational issues. Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety inspections, maintain compliance with industrial safety practices, and sign off on overhaul documents. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a related field. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of electrical systems ($24\text{v}-480\text{v}$ AC, single and 3-phase power, DC voltage), motor controls, and electronics (circuit boards, processors, chips). Skills: Mechanical ability, proficiency in PLC programming, and the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Tools: Must possess own hand tools (pouch/tool box) and a cell phone with text messaging capabilities.
