Update PO details and audit open orders to ensure accuracy of pricing, specs, and delivery dates. Vendor Expediting: Contact suppliers daily for order confirmations, tracking, and open balances. Resolve issues with late orders and lead times to prevent production delays. Requisition Support: Review and process routine purchasing requests for regional Part Sales, Service, Office, Maintenance, Safety, Warehouse, and Machine Shop teams. Capital Spending: Support AFE-related capital or project spending, ensuring all transactions follow strict internal approval workflows before purchasing. Inventory Replenishment: Assist with minimum/economic order quantity (MIN/EOQ) reviews. Place replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock of manufacturing supplies. Logistics & Costing: Evaluate purchasing options against total cost factors, including freight, tariffs, and lead times. Track cross-border shipments when needed. Compliance: Assist with vendor onboarding documentation while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding NDAs, supplier, and customer information.
