Key Responsibilities As a Buyer I, you will be instrumental in executing our purchasing strategies by: Reviewing purchase requisitions and determining the most appropriate procurement methods. Identifying and vetting potential suppliers, and soliciting competitive bids or quotations. Negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company. Generating accurate purchase orders (POs) and contracts, ensuring full compliance with internal policies. Monitoring and tracking order status, proactively expediting deliveries to meet demanding project timelines. Resolving issues and discrepancies related to pricing, quality, and delivery performance. Maintaining supplier relationships and conducting periodic supplier performance evaluations. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in purchasing, procurement, or a closely related role. Knowledge: Solid understanding of core procurement processes and best practices. Skills: negotiation, communication (written and verbal), and analytical skills. Technical Proficiency: Attention to detail and accuracy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
