Position Overview This role is centered on the setup, programming, and operation of a Doosan LYNX2100LSYB CNC Lathe. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision to fabricate production parts, ensuring machines run at full capacity while maintaining strict quality standards. This position is ideal for a machinist who takes pride in optimizing cycle times and achieving "drop complete" manufacturing. Key Qualifications and Skills Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathe machines. Technical Expertise: Specific experience with the Doosan LYNX2100LSYB is highly preferred. Programming: Advanced CNC programming skills are required; knowledge of CAD is considered a plus. Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using dial calipers, indicators, and all types of micrometers (depth, blade, ID & OD). Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. Optimization: Proven ability to improve machine performance through program manipulation and tooling selection to reduce part cycle times. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and reach throughout the shift and lift up to 50 pounds with the assistance of handling equipment. Compensation and Environment Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (based on experience).
