Core Competencies We Are Seeking PLC Troubleshooting: Ability to go "online" with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff PLCs to diagnose logic errors (not just swapping parts). Advanced Electromechanical: Deep knowledge of 3-phase power, servo motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and complex sensor arrays. Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Expertise in maintaining high-pressure systems, manifolds, and actuator assemblies. Precision Robotics: Experience with 6-axis arms (FANUC, KUKA, ABB) or SCARA robots—specifically regarding calibration and mechanical overhaul. Vacuum & Thin Film (For Semiconductor): Familiarity with turbo pumps, cryo pumps, and RF generators is a massive plus for South Bay roles. Qualifications Education: AS Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a relevant Military Technical rating (e.g., Navy EM/ET, Air Force Mech) is highly preferred. Experience: 3+ years in a heavy industrial or cleanroom manufacturing environment. Physical: Ability to work in "bunny suits" (for Cleanrooms) or lift up to 50 lbs as required.
