Rotates between various functions on the bottling line including those generally done by the General Line Techs and Skilled Line Techs; glass dumping, bottle/label inspection, hand packing and stacking, hand casing and uncasing, transferring bottles from bins to cages. Assists will all facility clean-up activities. Uses downtime to proactively clean-up or assist other team members. Provides leadership and training to less skilled employees. Operate and respond to error codes on all bottling line equipment such as Disgorger, Filler, Crimper/Pleater, Labeler, Inspection systems, Packaging machines, Wirehooder, Corker, Shaker, Washer, Neck Freezer, Case Packer, Case Sealer, Palletizer, Depalletizer, Monoblock, and Foiler. Operates Innotech CIP system for startup and shutdown programs, sets programs on CFT and Bertolaso filler for production and CIP, hand sanitizes return lines and tank. Diligently adheres to all safety practices, SOP’s and company policies. Acts as line lead when lead is otherwise unavailable. Promotes teamwork. Assists Maintenance and QC with line set up and troubleshooting. Supports other departments (Cellar, Warehouse, ect.) as needed and assigned by Management.
