job summary: QC Lab Technician contract to hire opportunity with a chemical processing client located in the Fort Worth, TX area. Under general supervision, you will perform duties associated with the testing and analysis of chemicals and other products to ensure all products meet quality specifications and customer demands. This role has a required rotating schedule (working 2 months on day shift, and 1 month on night shift). location: FORT WORTH, Texas job type: Contract salary: $30 - 33 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Utilize knowledge of instrumentation and testing procedures to perform quality control analysis of chemical products and recommend adjustments to operations to ensure products meet specifications.Accurately record all quality control data in the laboratory notebook, SAP, and Excel database.Approve raw materials, intermediates, and in-process results for use in production, and release quality-approved finished products for shipment.Commit to following all laboratory and plant safety procedures, including wearing required PPE, and be available to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
