This role is designed for a "Pro-active Junior" ready to take ownership of General Ledger maintenance and the month-end close process under the direct mentorship of an accessible CFO and Senior staff.Core Responsibilities Daily Operations & Cash Management: Execute day-to-day accounting within the Quantum ERP environment. Manage daily bank processing, including recording wires, ACH transfers, and remote deposits. Perform complex bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, resolving items in a timely manner. Facilitate full-cycle AP/AR: verifying invoices, managing weekly check runs, and monitoring aging reports. General Ledger & Financial Reporting: Maintain GL accounts; prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and payroll. Support Month-End and Year-End closing by preparing supporting schedules and roll-forward workpapers. Conduct variance analysis to ensure departmental accountability and audit readiness. Serve as the primary liaison between Sales and Finance to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Experience: 2–3 years of professional accounting experience. Language: Professional Fluency in Spanish (Required). Manage daily bank processing, including recording wires, ACH, and remote deposits for real-time cash visibility. Complete complex bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, resolving discrepancies within 48 hours. Oversee full-cycle AP/AR: verify invoices, manage weekly check runs, and monitor aging reports for timely collections. General Ledger & Month-End Support Maintain and update General Ledger (GL) accounts, ensuring all entries comply with GAAP standards. Prepare and post adjusting journal entries for payroll, depreciation, and accruals. Support the Senior Accounting team during month-end and year-end close by preparing supporting schedules and roll-forward workpapers. Maintain strict account controls and audit trails for all sales-related transactions. Communication & Process Resolution Act as the primary bilingual liaison between the sales team and finance to resolve invoicing and payment issues. Provide high-touch English/Spanish communication to resolve global vendor disputes and billing errors. Coordinate with the CFO on insurance renewals, vendor audits, and ad-hoc financial reporting. Organize PBC documentation for external auditors to ensure a seamless year-end audit process.
