We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join a respected client of ours, a successful company located north of Boston, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a finance team, where you will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, including reconciliations, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. We are looking for a proactive professional with an understanding of GAAP and a commitment to accuracy.salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilitiesGeneral Responsibilities: Assist and mentor clerical staff with processing vendor invoices, three-way matches, and payments. Review the accuracy of posted transactions. Manage reconciliation of inventory purchases clearing, expenses, and purchases by credit card accounts. Process and reconcile customer payments, deposits, and refunds. Reconcile aging and trial balances. Assist with collections of past-due invoices. Reconciliation of vendor returns, item valuation adjustments, and variances. Reconcile asset, income, expense, and suspense accounts. Assist with the completion of end-of-period ERP closing.
