Our client is seeking a meticulous Claims & Data Entry Specialist to join their operations team. This role is essential to our daily workflow, requiring a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to data integrity. You will be responsible for the initial intake of claims and the precise management of member-provider data, ensuring that our systems remain accurate and their members receive uninterrupted access to care. Note: Due to the nature of their real-time system queues and coordination with their primary service hubs, candidates must be located within the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT). Must type 60 WPM with 95% accuracy - we will send a test to confirmsalary: $18 - $19 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Execute the manual intake and processing of all provider and member first-time claims to ensure timely adjudication. Monitor system queues to track and process change request forms and doctor selection requests with high speed and accuracy. Manage provider termination workflows, including performing membership moves and initiating formal termination letters to affected members. Manually assign providers for members who fall outside the health plan’s systematic auto-assignment process. Audit and report on provider selection errors made by call center staff to help maintain organizational data standards. Retrieve and process all incoming returned mail, updating member records to ensure reliable communication channels.
