We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Medical Data Entry Specialist to join our administrative team. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring regulatory compliance. The shift time is: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm.salary: $19 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Complete data processing and input accurately into the correct system working from a queueResponsible for data verification of all incoming data from diverse sources (including provider notes, forms, lab results) to identify and correct discrepancies before entry.Accurately input and process high volumes of patient demographic, clinical, insurance, and billing data directly into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.Manage the ongoing maintenance and lifecycle of patient records, ensuring all files are current, complete, and correctly organized according to internal protocolsUphold strict compliance with all HIPAA regulations, maintaining the highest standard of patient data privacy and security at all times.Assist with the process of regular data quality audits Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in high-volume data entry, preferably within a healthcare administration settingTyping speed (minimum 40+ WPM) and proven ability to maintain 99%+ data accuracy.Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 codes, and EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech)Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Skills Entering Data10-KeyData EntryClaims ProcessingHIPAAMedicare ComplianceCPT CodesMedical Terminology Qualifications Years of experience: 1 yearExperience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
