We are seeking a precision-driven Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our advanced manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex, high-tolerance mechanical sub-assemblies, automotive components, or industrial drive systems. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional hand-eye coordination, a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read technical blueprints, and a deep commitment to safety and quality standard operating procedures (SOPs).salary: $20 - $21 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 2 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Precision Assembly: Build, fit, and assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Tool Operation: Skillfully utilize a variety of manual, pneumatic, and electric hand tools, including hydraulic torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, and precision gauges to secure components. Quality Assurance (QA): Perform continuous in-process quality inspections to verify dimensional accuracy, identify defects, and ensure 100% compliance with strict quality benchmarks. Line Feeding & Material Handling: Maneuver parts and raw materials to and from designated assembly stations using pallet jacks, hoists, or overhead cranes as required. Data Tracking: Log real-time production metrics, material usage, and task completion metrics accurately into digital plant systems (SAP / MES). Lean Manufacturing / 5S: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation in strict alignment with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate directly with manufacturing engineers and quality inspectors to troubleshoot assembly bottlenecks, escalate tool malfunctions, and support continuous process improvements.
