Industry Versatility: Experience working within a fast-paced, 24/7/365 operational environment Technical Proficiency: hands-on experience managing data within HRIS platforms (ADP preferred) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Must know, and have experience dealing with, FMLA. Oversee candidate screening, interviewing, background checks, pre-employment testing, and the new hire onboarding/orientation process. Collaborate with leadership and the recruiting team to pioneer innovative sourcing methods that bypass standard industry hiring limitations. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, workplace grievances, and disciplinary matters. Conduct thorough, objective investigations into compliance complaints, ensuring fair and consistent policy application, and escalating to executive leadership when necessary. Provide coaching, guidance, and strategic advice to supervisors on corrective actions, performance management, and employee development. Leave Administration & Performance Ownership Serve as the main point of contact for employee leave inquiries, partnering closely with a third-party leave administration vendor to maintain data integrity. Collaborate with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to develop and execute a Return-to-Work (RTW) strategy, coordinating light-duty structures where applicable. Sync with the Payroll department to ensure short-term disability (STD) data is updated accurately.
