Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing quality program, safety, operational, personnel policies and procedures. Ensures equipment being utilized is being properly maintain; handhelds and forklifts. Ensure facility maintenance through housekeeping, keeping product and facility secure and maintaining the assets of the facility. Controls inventory/PO quality by conducting physical counts; reconciling with BMS or communicating with purchasing. Aid other areas whenever needed, internal and external. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, training, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results Seek ways to increase and maintain efficiency, throughput, and quality in the department. Interface with support departments to ensure schedules and expectations are met.
