Ball Plant II is seeking an experienced Injection Mold Maintenance Mechanic to oversee the repair, maintenance, and optimization of our Kona-style horizontal and vertical injection machines, robotics, and integrated systems. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring minimal downtime by troubleshooting complex mechanical and electronic systems, performing vital preventative maintenance, and keeping our production running at peak efficiency. Conduct routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) for molds, machines, and related automation. Troubleshooting & Repair (40%): Diagnose, repair, and maintain injection mold machines, molds, and associated equipment (including robotics, automation, blenders, grinders, conveying equipment, hoists, and hoppers). Inventory & Setup (20%): Maintain accurate parts and mold inventories. Manage the physical setup and processing of machines and related equipment. Documentation: Utilize our computerized maintenance management system to track and log work orders, PM logs, materials, and parts. Experience & Requirements Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining injection molding equipment. Tools: Must possess and maintain your own trade-related hand tools to perform daily tasks. Safety: Working knowledge of safe work practices, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO).
