The Role: What You’ll Do As a Finishing Gluer Operator, you will operate the machinery that shapes and glues flat cartons into high-quality, finished packaging. Key Responsibilities: Set Up & Operation: Perform "make-readies" by adjusting forming bars to accommodate different box sizes; fill glue pots and position rollers. Quality & Maintenance: Verify the production schedule, observe machine operations to detect malfunctions, inspect cartons for flaws, and make mechanical adjustments. Leadership & Collaboration: Train Finishing Helpers/Assistants, manage team positioning on the glue lines, and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure supplies are stocked. Continuous Improvement: Complete Daily Management boards, including root-cause and corrective action planning.
