We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee our billing operations, with a specific focus on Anesthesia billing and advanced Denials Management. The ideal candidate will be a "claims detective" who understands the nuances of denials and revenue cycle and team leadership. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end revenue cycle, ensuring fiscal health through clean claim submission, aggressive follow-up, strategic appeal processes and effectively lead and manage our billing team. This is a remote position with some travel to Texas for on site meetings (approx. 1 time a month). salary: $124,000 - $125,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Anesthesia Billing Oversight: Manage the complexities of anesthesia coding and billing. Denials Management Strategy: Lead the identification, analysis, and resolution of claim denials. Payer Relations & Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for payer disputes. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Days in AR (DAR), Net Collection Rate, and Denial Percentages. Ensure all billing practices adhere to CMS guidelines and HIPAA regulations. Provide ongoing education to clinical staff regarding documentation requirements for medical necessity. Proven track record of reducing denial rates and successfully overturning high-dollar clinical and administrative appeals. Experience managing a team of billers/coders and driving a culture of accountability and precision. Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, with at least 3 years specifically in Anesthesia billing.
