One of the largest consumer specialty finance organizations seeks a Corporate & Litigation Counsel for a contract-to-hire role. Role is full-time 40 hours/week during standard business hours and is 100% REMOTE (can be done from any US location). You will perform a wide range of legal functions, such as handling pre-suit matters, managing litigation matters (e.g. defense of consumer claims, B2B disputes, and some employment litigation) and outside counsel; drafting responses to regulators; reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts; providing guidance to HR, and, as needed, perform various other legal tasks, such as legal research and legal projects. Assist members of the Legal Department in administration of various litigation and corporate matters, discovery projects, document review, and legal research on a variety of issues, including compliance and regulatory matters.
