A well respected Annapolis law firm seeks an Attorney to join their Commercial Litigation team. This is a Partner track role. Role is in office 5 days/week. The firm values work life balance, so 1600 hours is the annual billable requirement. Position requires (i) an active license to practice law in MD; and (ii) 1+ year of legal experience. Open to hiring a judicial law clerk, a government litigator or an established private practice commercial itigation attorney. Prepare, review, and present legal documents, ensuring the best interests of our clients. Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions. Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and tailor legal strategies accordingly. Conduct in-depth legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation matters. Analyze and summarize legal information to assist in building strong case strategies. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Prepare and organize exhibits, affidavits, and other supporting documents for court filings. Manage case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
