We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Atlanta, GA! Direct PERM hire! The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be supporting physicians in the medical offices specialized in allergy and asthma treatments to ensure safe and quality patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments (vital signs, histories, and health concerns) and communicate findings to providers.Administer medications, treatments, injections, and immunizations as ordered.Assist with diagnostic tests, lab specimen collection, and preparation for analysis.Support physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.Provide patient education on medical conditions, procedures, medications, and treatment plans.Monitor and document patient responses to care, maintaining accurate and compliant medical records in the EHR.Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment, following sterile and safety protocols.Respond to patient inquiries, triage calls, and coordinate scheduling/follow-ups to support efficient clinic operations.Collaborate with physicians, providers, and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.Promote a positive patient experience and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.Provide guidance and support to medical assistants and other clinical team members as needed.Requirements 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical NurseAbility to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary teamFamiliarity with clinic health, safety and sanitation standards and proceduresUnderstanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practicesExcellent knowledge of medical terminologyRequires valid and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN.) to practice in the state of GA.Knowledge of clinic practice standard, policies and procedures is required.Must display the ability to properly maintain records.Ability to communicate with adult and pediatric patients and families, as well as with co-workers is essential.Must be a team player.Allergy and asthma experience is preferred but not required.Thrives in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT or AllergyPAY RATE INCLUDES A $2.00 STIPEND FOR LOCATION.
