We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling and Lathe Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is more than just a button-pusher; we need someone who understands the machine, can independently set up jobs on 3 axis mills and lathes, and is proficient with Fanuc controls. You will be responsible for ensuring parts are made to print by managing tool changes, offsets, and program verificationsalary: $52,000 - $72,800 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Machine Setup: Perform complete setups on 3-Axis Vertical Milling Machines, including installing vices, fixtures, and work-holding devices. Occasionally will use lathes. Fanuc Proficiency: Navigate Fanuc control panels to load programs, set data, and troubleshoot alarms. Tool Management: Assemble, measure, and load tooling; perform necessary tool changes during production runs. Offsets & Adjustments: Accurately dial in tool height offsets (length and diameter) and work coordinate systems (G54, G55, etc.) to maintain tight tolerances. Program Review: Read and interpret G-Code and M-Code to ensure the machine is performing the correct operations; make minor edits at the controller if necessary. Quality Control: Inspect the first piece and in-process parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure dimensions match the blueprints.
