Participating in periodic cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy. Following FIFO (First In, First Out) or LIFO (Last In, First Out) practices, especially for perishable or dated goods. Locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on picking lists or RF scanner instructions. Verifying picked items for accuracy, securely wrapping/boxing them, and applying shipping labels. Assembling individual items into ready-to-ship kits or bundles if required. Loading outbound shipments onto delivery trucks securely to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Sweeping floors, disposing of cardboard/shrink wrap, and keeping aisles clear of debris to maintain a safe work environment. Conducting pre-shift safety checks on machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks) and reporting defects. Adhering to OSHA regulations, using proper lifting techniques, and wearing appropriate PPE (steel-toe boots, high-visibility vests).
