Position Overview: The Category Manager, IT Procurement will be responsible for the following: Responsible for developing and executing strategies for the acquisition of technology good and services, including consulting, telephony, hardware, software, SaaS, print and document management Lead efforts to improve IT purchasing and invoice processes to drive cost savings while managing internal stakeholder engagement over multiple business operating companies. Coordinate with IT leaders during the annual budget process and ensure spending patterns are in alignment with organizational goals. Understand supply market and develop sourcing plans Conduct recurring meetings with key stakeholders to build relationships, understand needs, identify opportunities and capture cost savings while mitigating risk Conduct RFx’s and perform pricing analysis Negotiate with suppliers and manage ongoing performance Redline contracts with understanding of acceptable and preferred commercial terms and risk tolerance Collaborate with Legal, Enterprise Security, and Risk groups during supplier and contract review Assist with vendor on-boarding / off-boarding Ensure compliance with company policies and control framework Identify and implement process improvements while maintaining and improving service levels Responsible for a portion of overall cost Savings and Avoidance targets Responsible for management of applicable e-catalogs Maintain Software Asset Management process and optimize software license portfolio What you need to bring: Candidates should be competent in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Word. Experience with Procure to Pay software suites is preferred.
