job summary: A CNC / Lathe Machinist is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the Southern Atlanta metro area (Fairburn). The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup, programming, and operation of various manual and CNC machines. The overall responsibility is to ensure the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products, including designing and modifying fixtures, and rigorously inspecting finished parts for conformance to engineering specifications. Qualified candidate must have a foundational Mastercam background possess the ability to read, interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and effectively use precision measuring equipment to complete dimensional inspections. Candidates should know how to manipulate drawing from SolidWorks to Mastercam. This is a direct-hire role, slated to be from 8-5, with some opportunity for overtime.
