CNC Machinist (Aerospace) Location: City of Industry, CA Compensation: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour Shift: Day and Night Shifts AvailableRole Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the independent setup and operation of sophisticated multi-axis machinery to produce complex structural components for the commercial and defense industries. You will work in a high-precision environment where quality, safety, and technical expertise are the foundations of our success.Core Responsibilities Advanced Setup & Operation: Independently set up and operate various multi-axis CNC machines, including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis mills and lathes. Controller Management: Proficiently navigate and manage common industry controllers (such as Fanuc, Siemens, or similar) to execute complex machining sequences. Tooling & Fixturing: Select and install appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and work-holding fixtures based on specific job requirements. Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical manuals. Precision Inspection: Maintain strict adherence to aerospace-grade tolerances by performing regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. Operational Monitoring: Monitor machine performance throughout production runs, adjusting offsets and parameters as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Material Handling: Safely load raw materials and move heavy structural components using overhead cranes or forklifts. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry-specific regulations (such as ITAR) when handling sensitive materials. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in a high-precision manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred). Technical Skills: strong understanding of G-code/M-code and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
