Core Responsibilities Advanced Programming: Create and optimize CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machines (Mori Seiki, Haas) using Mastercam. Efficiency Optimization: Modify current programs to improve run times and implement setup reduction techniques to maximize throughput. Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the floor lead for programming queries, assisting operators with complex setups and program execution. Engineering Liaison: Coordinate with the Engineering department to resolve design issues and improve manufacturability. Quality Control: Interpret complex blueprints (GD&T) and utilize precision inspection tools to ensure 100% part accuracy. Required Experience & Skills Mastercam: 6+ years of professional programming experience (Required). CNC Operations: 5+ years of hands-on experience in a high-precision environment. Controls: 5+ years of expertise with Fanuc, Mori, and Haas controls. Technical Literacy: Expert ability to read/interpret aerospace blueprints and use all standard inspection tools. Tooling Intelligence: Extensive knowledge of cutters, inserts, and material-specific speeds/feeds. Schedule & Benefits Shifts: Flexible starts (5:00 AM or 6:00 AM), Monday–Friday. Engineering Liaison: Work closely with the Engineering team to identify potential manufacturing issues during the pre-production phase and suggest design-for-manufacturability (DFM) improvements.
