Proctor Live Cases: Act as the subject matter expert in the OR, guiding clinicians through live endoscopic harvests of the saphenous vein or radial artery. Drive Adoption: Partner with the sales force to identify growth opportunities, ensuring hospitals reach full proficiency and "gold standard" status with our technology. Consult & Support: Act as a dedicated resource for existing customers, solving complex clinical challenges and ensuring the highest levels of patient safety and product performance. What Makes You Stand OutEVH Expertise: You have direct, recent experience performing endoscopic vessel harvesting. Whether you've used Maquet VasoView, VirtuoSaph, or Venapax, you are a master of the technique. The Clinical Pedigree: You are likely a Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), Physician Assistant (PA), or Registered Nurse (RN) with a deep background in Cardiac surgery. The "Coach" Mentality: You enjoy teaching others and have the patience and communication skills to guide a veteran surgeon through a new technical process. Autonomy: You are comfortable managing a multi-state territory, balancing a heavy travel schedule with the flexibility of a remote home office. Your BackgroundClinical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical work experience required. Technical Skill: Required expertise with Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH). Education: B.S. in Engineering, Biological Sciences, or equivalent clinical certification/years of experience. Results-Oriented: A proven track record of achieving clinical excellence and the ability to work without daily supervision. We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech First Assistant to provide aid to the surgeon during invasive procedures. Working under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse, you will perform intraoperative technical functions such as exposure, hemostasis, and closure to help achieve a safe operation with optimal patient results. This role requires expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques, human anatomy, surgical procedures, and equipment management to maximize patient safety. Job DutiesProvide aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions.Work under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.Ensure the operating room environment is safe and that equipment functions properly.Conduct the operative procedure under conditions that maximize patient safety.Apply expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques.Combine knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance.Perform all technical and physical functions and skills related to the job performance of a Surgical First Assistant and an Operating Room Surgical Technologist.Serve as a multifaceted communicator in a variety of emotional situations.Perform cleaning and restocking of sterile core areas and Operating Rooms.Minimum RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent and an Associate degree in Surgical Technologist.Certification/Training:Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire).Certification in The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR certification as Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) by the National Surgical Assistant Association.Must fulfill demonstrated First Assist competencies as defined by the Surgical Services Department within 60 days of hire (in addition to formal education).Alternative Experience: If no formal First Assist education, previous work experience in a full-service OR with validated competencies equivalent to two (2) full years of First Assisting will be considered.
