We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team. Working under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse, you will be responsible for facilitating the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and maximizing patient safety. This role requires expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques, human anatomy, surgical procedures, and the implementation of relevant tools and technologies. Job ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.Ensure the operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly.Maintain conditions that maximize patient safety and adhere to sterile/aseptic techniques.Perform all technical and physical functions and skills related to the Operating Room Surgical Technologist role.Serve as a multifaceted communicator in a variety of emotional situations.Perform cleaning and restocking of sterile core areas and Operating Rooms.Minimum RequirementsEducation: Associate degree in Surgical Technology.Certification/Training:Graduation from an accredited school in an Operating Room Technician (ORT) or Surgical Technologist (ST) program.Certification in The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required. Working under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse, you will perform intraoperative technical functions such as exposure, hemostasis, and closure to help achieve a safe operation with optimal patient results. This role requires expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques, human anatomy, surgical procedures, and equipment management to maximize patient safety.
