Technical Expertise & Advisory The Manager/Director performs the final, high-level review of complex federal and state tax returns for diverse entities, including C-Corps, S-Corps, and multi-state partnerships.Spearheads the design of comprehensive tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, focusing on wealth preservation and liability minimization.The Manager/Director maintains an authoritative knowledge of evolving tax laws and communicates the implications of these changes to both the internal team and the firm's clientele. Client & Business Management As a trusted advisor, the Manager/Director manages the firm's most significant client accounts, providing proactive, year-round consulting and business advice.The Director represents clients before the IRS and state/local taxing authorities, managing audits and resolving complex controversy issues.This role supports the firm's growth by identifying new service opportunities and participating in the acquisition of new clients. qualifications: An active CPA license is requiredA Master's degree in Taxation (MST) or a JD/LLM is preferred.10+ years of public accounting experience, with a proven track record of leadership in a management or director-level capacity.Demonstrate the ability to translate intricate tax concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-technical stakeholders.Extensive experience with professional tax software (such as CCH Axcess or UltraTax) and advanced analytical tools is required.
