Our client is seeking a high-energy, systems-oriented Accounting Supervisor to lead our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This is a critical "rescue and refine" mission. Our immediate priority is tackling a backlog in AP, followed by the implementation of Stampli to modernize and automate our workflow. Hands-On Operational Support AP Recovery: Initially, a significant portion of your time will be spent "getting your hands dirty" in the Accounts Payable module to bring processing up to date and resolve vendor discrepancies. Problem Solving: Act as the first point of escalation for complex invoicing issues, sales tax questions, or payment disputes. 2. Team Leadership & Oversight Direct Supervision: Manage, mentor, and audit the work of one AP and one AR staff member. Workflow Optimization: Streamline current processes to reduce manual entry errors and improve the speed of the monthly close. 3. Cash Management & Treasury Liquidity Tracking: Monitor daily cash balances and execute wire transfers or ACH payments. Forecasting: Develop and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts to ensure working capital meets manufacturing production needs. Banking Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners regarding portal access, fraud prevention (Positive Pay), and account reconciliation.
