ATLANTA, GA – January 21, 2026 – In recognition of National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, Randstad joined Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) leadership, corporate and community partners at the world’s busiest airport to announce a unified front against human trafficking. As the city prepares to welcome global visitors for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, this partnership underscores a proactive commitment to safety, awareness, and survivor restoration.
For over a decade, Randstad has moved beyond simple awareness to focus on restoring opportunity through its Hire Hope program. The program provides a pathway for survivors of exploitation to rebuild their lives through employment, stability, and dignity.
breaking the cycle of exploitation
The press conference highlighted the critical need for a collaborative community ecosystem to dismantle the barriers survivors face after escaping trafficking. Many survivors struggle with criminal records tied to their period of exploitation, which often blocks access to housing, education, and employment.
"When we invest in survivors, we are not just filling jobs; we are restoring lives," said Floss Aggrey, Chief Inclusion & Access Officer at Randstad and Executive Sponsor of Hire Hope. "Escaping trafficking is only the first step. To achieve true economic mobility, we must work together to dismantle the barriers on paper that prevent survivors from regaining their independence and building a future."
pipelining talent from vulnerable communities
Randstad is expanding its efforts to skill and pipeline talent from vulnerable populations, including victims of human trafficking, homelessness, and domestic violence, directly into its vast client ecosystem.
"Our goal is to create a robust pipeline of talent from the most vulnerable sectors of our community," said Keith Brown, Head of Community Impact at Randstad. "By working with our community partners to source talent and leveraging the Hire Hope program to provide essential skills, we are not just providing a job; we are offering a career path. We are igniting our program to ensure that these resilient individuals have direct access to opportunities within our client network, fostering long-term stability and success."
a proven impact
The Hire Hope program has already assisted over 1,000 individuals who have experienced human trafficking, homelessness, and domestic violence in initiating steps toward a renewed life. This work has been recognized by the World Economic Forum for its measurable impact on economic empowerment. By creating a portfolio of real work experiences through Randstad and its clients, the program helps survivors heal and rebuild their minds and futures.
