responsibilities:
This work is in the Vegetable Quality Lab, R&D. Technicians will be expected to do sample preparation, whole vegetable processing, data input into LIMS system(s), and general lab maintenance (dishes, chemical/consumable inventory, labeling). This is to collect quantitative data for fruit/vegetable characteristics. There will be opportunities for working with analytical equipment, pipetting, solvent preparation, and waste management.
qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree is preferred, not required: emphasis in agriculture, biology, or food science backgrounds.
skills: Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
