A Mechanical Assembler is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Medley, FL area. This Mechanical Assembler position involving the hands-on construction of electrical and mechanical components using tools, diagrams, and SAP software in a Lean manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Construct electrical and mechanical assemblies, modules, and circuit boards within a team environment.
- Ensure all assembled products meet design specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to install parts on electrical equipment.
- Perform rework operations as needed to meet strict quality standards.
- Interpret computer-generated pictures, wiring diagrams, sketches, and engineering drawings.
- Use SAP and other computer systems to track production and perform administrative tasks.
- Adhere to and mentor others in safety, environmental, Lean, and high-performance work system (HPWS) philosophies.
- Manage secondary responsibilities including maintenance, stocking, and routing.
- Maintain flexibility to perform various duties under limited supervision.
- Successfully complete assembly training school and follow all written or verbal instructions.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must successfully pass assembly training school.
