responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Our Client's design team to perform structural analysis and effectively communicate requirements on design documents.
- Act as a Lead Structural Engineer for medium-sized projects or a Sub Lead for larger initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Apply strong knowledge of US building codes and lateral analysis for wind and seismic conditions to your designs.
- Ensure strict quality control by rigorously reviewing your own calculations and performing peer checks on other engineers' work.
- Take complete ownership of your structural scope by defining effort, identifying scope changes, and meeting schedule and budget requirements.
