responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance discrete event simulation (DES) capabilities to model manufacturing operations from individual production lines to regional supply chains.
- Design standardized templates, deliverable formats, and validation protocols to guarantee model accuracy and reliability.
- Extract actionable business insights from completed simulation data to continuously optimize manufacturing performance.
- Cultivate relationships with external simulation vendors while maintaining a centralized internal system for organizing models.
- Partner with data analysts to streamline data integration and identify opportunities to develop advanced digital twins.
