responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of purchasing across multiple programs, from submitting compliant RFQs and performing price analyses to negotiating quotes and executing Purchase Orders.
- Track open orders to ensure supplier commitments align with schedules, proactively updating Operations teams and escalating delivery changes when necessary.
- Identify new sources of supply by collaborating closely with Engineering and Supplier Quality to successfully complete rigorous new vendor qualification processes.
- Cultivate long-term, professional partnerships with suppliers and internal customers while supporting proposals and participating in continuous improvement reviews.
- Utilize advanced Excel and organizational skills to efficiently handle large datasets, requisition lines, and parallel program activities in a fast-paced environment.
