responsibilities:
As the Manager of Production Management, you will manage production, shipping schedules, and machine specifications to ensure the ex-factory dates requested by customers, distributors, or sales teams are met flawlessly. You will be responsible for creating production schedules with proper lead times and maintaining absolute schedule accuracy.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and creating 6-month production plans based on business plans and backlog orders from the Sales Department.
- Communicating with the Sales Department to ensure machine purchase orders (POs) are received on time.
- Verifying the contents of machine POs-including specifications, delivery dates, and pricing-and transferring them into the production system.
- Creating and adapting production schedules to include the first process date and ex-factory date, ensuring proper lead times with design, procurement, and production teams.
- Providing timely ex-factory dates to sales based on machine specifications and reporting any delays accordingly.
- Communicating smoothly with design, procurement, assembly, and inspection teams to coordinate necessary actions when specification changes occur.
- Confirming all necessary conditions for exporting machinery, including incoterms, export compliance ($E/L$), check sheets, and required approvals.
- Providing vital manufacturing decision-making insights to leadership by reviewing production schedules and estimating future requirements.
