Growing manufacturer in St. Louis is seeking an Engineering Technician to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment and an Associate's degree in Engineering or similar technical field. Experience with electromechanical manufacturing, testing or repair highly preferred, as well as knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Inventory management a plus.

responsibilities:
- Build, modify, and evaluate prototype electric motors and electromechanical assemblies from blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Execute performance, heat run, and validation testing on electric motors; accurately collect and organize test data for engineering review.
- Provide direct technical support to the manufacturing floor, troubleshooting assembly issues and implementing engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions under strict revision control.
- Identify non-conforming materials, assist with root-cause investigations for defects, and coordinate equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Associate's degree in Engineering or similar technical field preferred
- At least 2 years in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance related role
- Experience with electromechanical manufacturing, motors preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ERP systems preferred
