We are searching for a Test Engineer to work for a reputable avionics company in Wichita, KS. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of professional experience designing test solutions for electronic products.

responsibilities:
- Design manufacturing tests for new products, including test fixtures, test stations, and the schematic and PCB design of fixture circuit hardware, driven primarily by C#/.NET application software (with embedded C where required)
- Maintain and improve manufacturing testing for existing products, troubleshooting test failures, performing root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to sustain quality, yield, and throughput
- Participate in design-for-manufacture and design-for-test (DFM/DFT) reviews, performing test coverage and fault coverage analysis to influence testability early in the design cycle
- Build and troubleshoot hardware, including basic soldering, operation of test equipment, and daily work in both office and test lab environments
- Create and document designs in required formats, including BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions
