responsibilities:
- Manage capital improvement projects from initial planning and design through construction and closeout, which includes developing scopes, schedules, and comprehensive implementation plans.
- Assist in developing the annual capital budget and multi-year improvement plans while actively preparing and administering bid documents, RFPs, contracts, and change orders.
- Act as the central liaison to coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, ensuring successful project delivery and providing regular progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Review design drawings and specifications for facility renovations, monitor daily project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve any constructability issues impacting scope, schedule, or budget.
- Oversee permitting, regulatory approvals, and code compliance, while maintaining meticulous project records and supporting the documentation and reporting requirements for grant-funded initiatives.
