responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design modifications for gas turbine combustion hardware, managing complete model/drawing definitions and PLM Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Develop cost Pareto models using aPriori (or similar tools) and partner directly with suppliers to evaluate cost-reduction ideas and manufacturability limits.
- Partner closely with drafting, sourcing, manufacturing (AME), heat transfer, materials (MPE), and value engineering teams to ensure design alignment.
- Support shop operations by dispositioning non-conformances, processing supplier qualifications, reviewing SDRs, and following modified parts through final assembly.
