responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments across Truckload, Intermodal, and LTL modes with distribution centers, planning teams, and carriers.
- Utilize customer Transportation Management Systems (TMS) portals to identify root causes, resolve network gaps, and onboard new customer pickup freight models.
- Identify, anticipate, and communicate operational constraints to internal stakeholders and external carriers to resolve daily tactical and customer service issues.
- Manage local carrier relationships and site-level adherence to published routing guides while tracking issues and providing performance feedback to leadership.
- Execute complex transportation assignments, adapting to dynamic network and demand changes to support overall business unit objectives.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent applicable professional experience.
Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience beyond college in supply chain or logistics operations.
Strong SAP proficiency along with advanced MS Excel and MS Office computer skills.
