We are searching for a Mechanical Engineer to support energy construction projects including power generation and midstream oil and gas facilities.
This is a hybrid work schedule and candidates can live in any of the following areas: Houston, TX; Pittsburg, PA; Omaha, NE; or Duluth, MN.
This is a long term contract position that could lead to a direct hire position.

responsibilities:
- Mechanical design of energy construction facilities and systems from inception through to delivery.
- Assist in the development of drawing packages, project cost estimating, and functions for projects involving pipelines, processing sites, and other energy industry related facilities.
- Provide technical assistance to Engineering and Operations Departments to resolve operating problems or to establish best operating practices.
- Work with CAD designers to develop drawing packages suitable for project construction.
- Perform basic modifications to computer aided design (CAD) and drafting functions to assist in completion of project deliverables.
- Understand and interpret the basics of P&IDs, technical drawings, schematics, equipment specifications, industry codes, and technical reports.
qualifications:
BSME
2+ years of experience with mechanical engineering for either power generation or Oil&Gas construction projects
General knowledge of CAD software and BlueBeam Revu is a plus
EIT preferred
