responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and implement quality assurance procedures and standards to ensure overall product and process reliability.
- Conduct tests, inspections, and blueprint evaluations across precision manufacturing processes such as forging, casting, machining, and coating.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to resolve quality challenges and maintain 5S methodologies under project deadline pressure.
- Document quality assurance activities, maintain detailed records, and ensure strict compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by applying problem-solving frameworks, change management, and built-in quality principles.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Instructional Design and Technology, or a related field with 2+ years of related experience (or High School diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience).
Proven experience in quality assurance or engineering within manufacturing environments, demonstrating proficiency in blueprint reading, 5S, analytical problem solving, and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred familiarity with 3D modeling/NX, 8D problem solving, Built-in Quality, Management of Change, or digital tools like GitHub Copilot.
