responsibilities:
- Execute gas turbine qualification strategies through diligent ownership of Design Liaison Engineering qualifications and quality management processes for Our Client.
- Collaborate with global supply chain, quality, design, materials, and sourcing teams to define and execute robust hardware qualification milestones.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles and design for producibility to optimize manufacturing processes, drive cost reductions, and foster a zero-defect culture.
- Manage the disposition of unqualified hardware and execute standard engineering work to resolve technical issues across internal factories and external suppliers.
- Ensure clear, accurate documentation of qualification steps while maintaining a safety-first mindset across all operations.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
Background in gas turbine hardware or rotating machinery design, along with familiarity with GD&T, engineering drawings, and lean manufacturing methods.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across global cross-functional teams for Our Client.
