In this role, you will perform critical in-shop supplier surveillance and verify materials against international codes across major capital projects worldwide.

responsibilities:
- Perform in-shop quality surveillance, monitoring, and testing at vendor facilities to verify material and equipment conformance with procurement documents and codes.
- Participate in kickoff and pre-fabrication meetings to review requirements, confirm witness/hold points, inspection plans, and traceability expectations.
- Verify that qualified procedures, qualified personnel, calibrated equipment, approved drawings, and released materials are in place prior to work starting.
- Monitor supplier operations including welding, fit-up, non-destructive examinations, coating, pressure testing, and factory acceptance testing.
- Review supplier quality documentation, reject nonconforming materials, collaborate on corrective action dispositions, and release conforming materials for shipment.
qualifications:
High school diploma, Associate degree, or college coursework with related inspection hours, or 2+ years of experience involving 2,000 hours of in-shop surveillance.
Demonstrated experience in witnessing examinations, reviewing material test reports and quality verification records, and verifying sub-supplier compliance.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively coordinate with suppliers, project personnel, and customers.
