Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

• Support the monthly close process to ensure that the general ledger (GL) and resulting information is accurate and timely and that appropriate schedules have been completed and reconciled.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial and compliance reporting.
• Lead the preparation of grant proposal budgets, coordinate invoicing, and review and submit federal reimbursement requests.
• Support the annual audit support process, coordinating with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
• Monitor compliance requirements; prepare and submit all required financial and budget reports.

Financial Management / Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes in collaboration with department leaders.
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of regular financial planning reports, including actuals vs. budget, cash flow planning and project financial statements.
• Deliver insightful variance analysis with clear commentary on business drivers and trends.
• Build and maintain financial models to support grant proposals, strategic initiatives and decision-making.
